oh crap.
was distracted by my book and neglected cream burner. boiled over, spilling hot milk everwhere, especially into the burner. spells oddly of burnt marshmallows and rubber. hope i haven't ruined the ganache.
also, cheesecake possibly not setting. mild state of panic setting in. damn new oven -- haven't yet become intimate with its patterns.

okay, i have it narrowed down to these two engaging titles.
1. the tap dance dictionary
2. macho sluts
perhaps you were reading both simultaneously and were distracted by daydreams of macho tap dancing sluts! aha--that's it!!
gasp! i am appalled that you think i was reading pornography!!! what kind of sicko do you think i am?
oh no--the tap dance dictionary is not as pornographic as it sounds, really! (even though the tap dance christmas carol did make the kink calendar and you were in attendance!
