passover seder, round 1(a preview)

report to follow, pending arrival of photos from my own personal professional photographer...and really, you should try to find one for yourself--they're quite nice to have around.

and the shoelaces?, you ask. its all part of a top secret jewish ritual that i can't reveal to the unlearned masses. or maybe it's just that the laces on my brand new swank shoes broke. drat!

great posts on passover...i am up at this ungodly hour eating leftovers from my seder last night-cooked all day and my brisket was TENDER.
yes, i always laugh when grocery stores sell matzoh at rosh hashanna-they even do that in the san francisco area.

hi elle. here's to tender brisket! it's amazing what 4 hours in an oven can do to a slab of meet, eh?

as for matzah at rosh hashanah, i always find it disturbing when i go to a non-jewish friend's house and find matzah in their kitchen. the casual eating of matzah outside of the passover-season totally mystifies me. why anyone would choose to eat the stuff makes no sense. blech.

Eliz: It's because matzah brie is yummy! I made it for my parents when I was home for Easter last weekend. Their church had a seder in the Messianic tradition, which was interesting, but the end result was lots of leftover matzah.
